It's sort of amusing. Here in Chico, the deer hang out at the golf course because they know they can't be hunted there. At least that's what we think. It makes it easier for me to get pictures of them, but it's much more rewarding to hike up into the wilderness and get masterpiece shots of deer or other animals, without the hint of man-made grass which indicates that I didn't have to work hard to take this photo. But I work hard on it nonetheless to make sure it is sale-worthy and cropped right.
