This was one of my favorites from traveling with my family. We stopped at one of the beach areas along the outer coast of the Bay Area, and it was perfect lighting for some good snapshots. The thing that surprised me is that this photo turned out to be about ten times better when I tooled around with it on the computer, because on the camera it was kind of dark, and naturally cameras don't have as good of dynamic range as our eyes, so I adjusted it to match our dynamic range and have the perfect artistic appeal as well. Maybe people saw it as good as it was before I changed it, but at least now I realize how good it is, and I want to make sure I still think it's good so I'm going to keep it like it is.
