Crystal Creek Falls, much post-processing

Crystal Creek Falls, much post-processing

This picture was a total mistake, but it turned out to be one of the best pictures I've taken. I was on my way up to a different waterfall for a hike, but the road was closed and I didn't have time to hike the rest of the way to the trail head, and I knew there was this other waterfall that was practically on the road, and that was the only other option considering the time I had, so I drove right down there and walked maybe a quarter mile along an icy road, and I saw the lower falls, and it was pretty good (got a panorama of that), but then I clambered up some slippery rocks because I was curious about what was up there, and lo and behold, I found the upper falls, which, at the time, totally trumped the lower falls in terms of beauty as the sun was at the perfect angle. If I had been there at a different time, I may have never seen such beauty. I also edited this quite a bit in software to achieve the effect that I received when I first saw it, which is like being "blown away by the light."
